What this site collects

Nothing at all unless you send it. There is no analytics script on these pages, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracker. Browsing here does not put you on a list.

If you fill in the buyer form, it sends me exactly what you typed: your name, your phone number, your email, the language you'd rather use, which community you're interested in, your budget range, whether you're pre-approved, and whether you've already registered at a community. That goes to my own email and to a private spreadsheet I use to keep track of who I'm working with.

Who sees it

Me, and the licensed team I work within — the people who supervise how this inventory data is used, which is a handful of licensed real estate professionals and nobody outside that. It is handled internally. You can ask me who at any time. It does not go to any third party, and I don't sell, rent or trade any of it.

If you decide to buy, the builder and your lender will need your information too — but that happens through their own paperwork, with you filling it in, not by me handing over what you sent me here.

Text messages (SMS)

The text message program on this site is Ocala New Homes Guide (Rudy Montejo, Realtor), and it runs on one number: 352-720-2525.

What we collect. Your mobile phone number, and the content of the messages you send us. That's it — we don't buy numbers and we don't add anybody to a list for texting them something they didn't ask about.

How we use it. To reply to you about homes you asked about, to answer questions, and to set up tours. Nothing else.

How it starts and how it stops. You get texts if you text 352-720-2525 first, or if you check the text-message box on one of the forms on this site. That box is never checked for you and you never have to check it to send the form. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to any message to opt out — you'll get one confirmation and nothing after that, and it doesn't affect anything else we're doing together.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

That covers phone calls too: if you give me your number I may call you about homes, on the same terms.

How long I keep it

Until you ask me to delete it, or until we've been out of touch for two years. Ask and it's gone — email rudy@ocalanewhomesguide.com and say so. You don't have to give a reason.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to see which pages get looked at and which buttons get tapped. That sets cookies.

What is never sent to either one: your name, your phone number or your email. When you send the form, those go to my email and my contact sheet, not to analytics. What analytics gets is which page was open, in which language, and the home code — RM-4K2, say — which identifies a house and not a person.

If you'd rather none of it were collected, private browsing or any blocker stops it and the site works the same. The filter panel still keeps what you picked in the page's own web address, and that disappears the moment you close the tab.

Children

This site isn't for anyone under 18 and I don't knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
